Tormenta FC Academy

Overview

Youth academy arm of South Georgia Tormenta FC (USL League One professional club based in Statesboro, GA). The only youth soccer club in the region with a direct pathway to a professional team. Training locations in Savannah, Bluffton, Hilton Head, Effingham, and Statesboro.

Programs: Pre-Academy, Junior Academy (8-12), RDS Training, and Summer Programs.

Investment Thesis

USL-affiliated academy with pro pathway. Different model than standalone nonprofits. Not a typical acquisition target but represents the pro-club-affiliated model competing in the same market.

Open Questions

• Is the academy a separate legal entity from Tormenta FC?
• Revenue and player count?
