League Affiliations

Achievements
- U15 team made history as the first and only Connecticut team to qualify for the Generation adidas Cup (March 2026), going undefeated in the MLS NEXT Pro Academy qualifying tournament.
SYNRGY Relevance
Competitive threat. CT United’s free, professionally-backed academy model could pull top talent away from paid club programs. This is a disruptive force in the CT market that any acquirer must monitor. However, CT United only covers boys U15+ — the vast majority of youth soccer (U8-U14, all girls) remains addressable by traditional clubs.
Open Questions
- How many players will CT United Academy enroll at each age group?
- What is the geographic draw — primarily Bridgeport/Fairfield County or statewide?
- Will they expand to younger age groups or add girls programming?
