MeSA Soccer Complex

Overview

MeSA Soccer Complex is a premier outdoor soccer facility located at 1020 Anderson Ridge Road, Greer, SC 29651 (Taylors area, Greenville County). It is the largest dedicated soccer complex in South Carolina and the home base for CESA.

Owned and operated by Greenville County Parks, Recreation & Tourism. CESA is the anchor tenant with a long-standing partnership managing programming. Greenville Triumph SC sponsors Turf Field #1.

Economics

County-owned facility reduces capital burden on tenant clubs. CESA’s anchor tenancy likely involves a lease or management agreement — terms not publicly disclosed. Named field sponsorships (Hartness, Resurgent Capital, Monster Energy, Hughes Investment) suggest corporate sponsorship revenue.

Condition & Lifecycle

Active tournament and training venue. 5 turf fields will require periodic replacement ($500K-$1M per field cycle).

Investment Thesis

Critical facility in any CESA acquisition. A CESA deal would need to include assignment or continuation of the MeSA lease/management agreement. The county ownership limits upside from facility appreciation but reduces capital requirements. The 19-field complex is South Carolina’s best soccer venue and a competitive advantage.
