Notes
When complete, this will be the second club-controlled soccer facility on Long Island (after SUSA’s Orlin & Cohen Complex). The $25M investment signals serious commitment and creates a permanent physical anchor for professional and elite youth soccer in Nassau County.
The Mitchel Athletic Complex site is historically significant — it was formerly part of Mitchel Air Force Base and has been a Nassau County athletic facility for decades. The addition of a professional soccer stadium represents the most significant sports infrastructure investment on Long Island since the Islanders’ move to UBS Arena.
