Colorado Soccer Association (CSA)

Overview

CSA is the US Youth Soccer (USYS) member state association for Colorado. One of 54 USYS state associations. Governs recreational and competitive youth soccer statewide. Colorado is a strong Mountain West market anchored by the Denver metro (Front Range corridor), with elite clubs holding both ECNL and MLS Next affiliations. Colorado Rapids youth academy has significant market influence.

Structure

Boys and girls divisions from recreational through state cup competitive tiers across age groups U9–U19. Annual CSA State Cup qualifies for USYS Regional and National Championships. ODP program feeds into regional and national player pools.

Player Pathway

State competition sits beneath national platforms (ecnl, mls-next, girls-academy). Several Front Range clubs hold dual-franchise ECNL/MLS Next affiliations. Colorado Rapids Academy provides MLS-funded pathway.
