Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA)

Overview

Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) is the US Youth Soccer state association governing youth soccer in Eastern New York, covering Long Island, New York City, and surrounding areas. The association serves approximately 100,000 registered players and oversees affiliated leagues including the Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL).

Structure

ENYYSA is one of two state associations in New York (the other being Western New York Youth Soccer). As a US Youth Soccer member association, it provides sanctioning and governance for recreational and competitive youth soccer in its jurisdiction.

Player Pathway

ENYYSA sits at the base of the competitive pyramid — below national platforms like ECNL and MLS NEXT. State association membership is required for players competing in affiliated leagues.

Economics

Member clubs pay registration and insurance fees through ENYYSA to field sanctioned teams. Fee structures follow US Youth Soccer guidelines.

Current Trajectory

As the governing body for the region’s largest youth soccer market, ENYYSA plays an administrative role underpinning all club and league activity on Long Island and in NYC.
