Utah Youth Soccer Association (UYSA)
Overview
UYSA is the US Youth Soccer (USYS) member state association for Utah. One of 54 USYS state associations. Governs recreational and competitive youth soccer statewide. Utah is a smaller Mountain West market with high youth soccer participation driven by cultural demographics (LDS community) and the Salt Lake City metro. RSL Academy (Real Salt Lake) has strong statewide influence via MLS-funded pathway.
Structure
Boys and girls divisions from recreational through state cup competitive tiers across age groups U9–U19. Annual UYSA State Cup qualifies for USYS Regional and National Championships.
Player Pathway
State competition sits beneath national platforms (ecnl, mls-next, girls-academy). RSL Academy dominates the MLS Next and Girls Academy pathways statewide, while La Roca FC and Utah Avalanche hold ECNL franchises.
