Context

Powell was brought in as Nashville SC elevated the professional structure of its academy operation. His hire followed a period in which the academy produced three homegrown signings (Adem Sipić, Isaiah Jones, Chris Applewhite) and generated significant youth national team representation in the 2024-25 season.
