Background

Born in Ballymoney, Northern Ireland (October 6, 1980). Carson played professionally in Scotland and Northern Ireland for seven years, starting with Glasgow Rangers (1997) before stints with multiple British clubs. Joined Coleraine FC in Northern Ireland (2004–2014), scoring 65 goals in 300 appearances as a winger. Also played for Glentoran FC, winning the Irish Cup in 2013. Made his international debut for Northern Ireland against Italy in June 2009. Immigrated to the United States in 2015 and transitioned to coaching. Holds a degree in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Ulster, a UEFA A License, and a USSF A-Youth License.
