Context
Wahl built the Austin FC Academy from a single U-14 Development Academy team in 2019 to a full MLS NEXT program with four age groups (U-13 through U-17) plus a U-12 feeder and Austin FC II in MLS NEXT Pro — a rapid buildout that reflects the club’s stated goal of leading US academy development.
