Confidence Cup

Overview

The Confidence Cup is a youth soccer tournament hosted by MVLA (Mountain View Los Altos Soccer Club) in the San Jose / South Bay area of Northern California. The 2026 edition is scheduled for May 2–3. Age groups span competitive youth divisions, consistent with MVLA’s broad club program serving players from recreational through elite levels. Exact team count and field locations not confirmed at time of compilation.

Ownership & Operations

Operated by MVLA, one of the larger youth soccer organizations in the NorCal region with clubs in both Mountain View/Los Altos (MVLA SC) and San Jose (MVLA SJ). MVLA hosts multiple tournaments annually, including the Bay Area Spring Cup and Bay Area Winter Cup.

Sanctioning

Sanctioned by US Club Soccer; open to teams affiliated with any USSF affiliate organization in good standing.

Reputation & Tier

Tier 3–4 regional event. Serves the South Bay competitive market as an end-of-spring-season tournament. Participation largely draws NorCal clubs.
