The ALBION CUP National Showcase is a premier elite youth soccer tournament hosted by ALBION SC in the San Diego/Southern California region. The 2026 edition runs July 11–13, with boys teams playing at SoCal Sports Complex in Oceanside, CA and girls teams at Galway Downs Soccer Complex in Temecula, CA; finals for both are held at SoCal Sports Complex on the final day. The tournament serves U8–U19 boys and girls (7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 formats by age group) and is described as one of the largest and most elite tournaments in the United States, drawing teams from across the country and internationally.
Ownership & Operations
Operated by ALBION SC San Diego through the ALBION CUP tournament brand (albioncup.com). The ALBION CUP umbrella covers multiple event types — the National Showcase is the flagship elite offering, while separate Development Showcase and Preseason Elite Showcase events operate on distinct calendars. Each team is guaranteed three games, with semifinals and finals. Three competitive flights allow teams of varying elite caliber to compete appropriately.
Sanctioning
Sanctioned by US Club Soccer.
Reputation & Tier
Tier 1–2. The ALBION CUP National Showcase is recognized nationally as a top-tier summer showcase event. The dual-venue model at SoCal Sports Complex (Oceanside) and Galway Downs (Temecula) — two of Southern California’s premier outdoor soccer facilities — reinforces its elite positioning. National and international team participation is documented.
Notes
The National Showcase (July 11–13) is distinct from the ALBION CUP Preseason Elite Showcase (August 22–23 at Galway Downs) and the Development Showcase. ALBION SC San Diego’s tournament portfolio represents one of the most developed and branded tournament operations among independent SoCal clubs.
