Pat’s Cup
Overview
Pat’s Cup is a long-running youth soccer tournament hosted by Pateadores at OC Great Park and City of Irvine facilities in Costa Mesa / Irvine, Southern California. The 2026 edition runs on two separate weekends: Boys on July 11–12, Girls on July 18–19. A companion event, Pat’s Jr. Cup, targets younger age groups. The tournament is classified as Class I & III and is open to affiliated competitive teams from US Youth Soccer state associations, Cal South, and foreign countries. Application deadline is June 24, 2026.
Ownership & Operations
Organized and hosted by Pateadores Soccer Club, one of Southern California’s largest and most established youth clubs based in Costa Mesa. Pateadores operates an extensive multi-age tournament calendar under the “Pat’s” brand.
Economics
Entry fees and stay-to-play policies not confirmed at time of compilation. Irvine/OC Great Park venues are among the highest-capacity turf complexes in SoCal, supporting large team counts.
Sanctioning
Class I & III tournament, sanctioned under US Youth Soccer (Cal South) rules. Open to all USSF-affiliated organizations.
Reputation & Tier
Tier 2–3 regional event with national draw given Pateadores’ brand recognition. The split Boys/Girls weekend format maximizes field utilization across Irvine venues.
Notes
Separate from Pat’s Jr. Cup, which targets recreational and younger competitive divisions. Pateadores also operates the broader PATS tournament series under the same organizational umbrella.
