SSA Rec Fall Classic

Overview

The SSA Rec Fall Classic is a recreational-level youth soccer tournament hosted by Southern Soccer Academy (SSA Swarm) in the Atlanta metro area of Georgia. The event targets boys and girls U10–U19 recreational teams; no Academy or Select (competitive travel) players are permitted. The AGENDA lists a May 16–17 date for the 2026 edition, though the event has historically run in the fall season (October–November window) — the spring date may reflect a second annual edition or a scheduling shift.

Ownership & Operations

Operated by SSA Swarm FC, a prominent Atlanta-area club affiliated with MLS NEXT and other elite pathways. Venues include Mud Creek Soccer Complex (5600 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy SW, Marietta, GA) and Tramore Park (2150 East-West Connector, Austell, GA). Format: 7v7 (U10), 9v9 (U12), 11v11 (U14–U19).

Economics

Registration fees in recent editions: $250 (U10 7v7), $300 (U12 9v9), $350 (U14–U19 11v11). Registration typically opens October 1 for the fall edition with a deadline in early November.

Sanctioning

Sanctioned by US Club Soccer and/or Georgia State Soccer Association (GSSA). All players must carry valid NGB player passes.

Reputation & Tier

Tier 5. A community recreational event drawing local Atlanta-area rec programs. Entry requirements explicitly exclude competitive/travel players, making it a true grassroots recreational competition.

Notes

SSA Swarm operates across both elite and recreational programming tiers. The Rec Fall Classic is the club’s community-facing recreational event, separate from its higher-profile showcase and select tournaments.
