Iowa Rush Summer Cup

Overview

The Iowa Rush Summer Cup is an annual youth soccer tournament hosted by Iowa Rush SC in Waverly, Iowa. The 2026 edition runs June 20–21 at Waverly Soccer Complex / Cedar River Parkway (Waverly, IA 50677). The tournament is open to Boys and Girls U9–U19 age groups. The event is designed for top-level teams preparing for State Cup or Regionals, as well as competitive teams looking to close out the spring season.

Ownership & Operations

Organized and operated by Iowa Rush SC through its dedicated tournament division (iowarushtournaments.com). Iowa Rush is one of Iowa’s largest youth soccer clubs and operates multiple seasonal tournaments, including Spring Champions Cup, Summer Cup, and Fall Cup.

Economics

Entry fees range from $675–$925 per team. A stay-to-play hotel policy is in effect for out-of-town teams (lodging coordinated through a designated travel partner). Early registration deadline: May 1, 2026; standard deadline: June 1, 2026. Tournament features vendors on site, athletic trainers, and assigned referees.

Sanctioning

Sanctioned by US Club Soccer. Open to teams from all USSF-affiliated organizations.

Reputation & Tier

Tier 3 regional event with multi-state draw — past editions have attracted teams from 10+ states. Waverly Soccer Complex provides quality turf fields with strong logistical infrastructure.

Notes

The Summer Cup is Iowa Rush’s signature midsummer event. Iowa Rush also hosts the Rush Spring Champions Cup and Rush Fall Cup in the same annual tournament series.
