PDA Girls College Showcase

Overview

The PDA Girls College Showcase (listed in the US Club Soccer sanctioned tournament registry as “PDA Girls Memorial Showcase”) is a premier annual girls college recruiting tournament hosted by PDA (Players Development Academy) in New Jersey. The 2026 edition runs May 23–25 at top facilities across New Jersey. The event features approximately 300 elite girls’ teams from across the nation competing in front of college coaches. Age groups focus on U15–U19 ECNL, ECNL Regional, and Girls Academy teams. A companion U12–U14 Invitational event runs concurrently.

Ownership & Operations

Organized by Players Development Academy (PDA), one of the largest and most prominent girls’ soccer clubs in the United States, based in Somerset, NJ. PDA operates multiple showcase events throughout the year, with the Memorial weekend showcase being its flagship college-recruitment event.

Economics

Hotel accommodations are mandatory through Anthony Travel (stay-to-play) — teams found in violation are subject to disqualification without refund. Entry fees not confirmed at time of compilation. U15–U19 rosters may carry up to 26 players per team if allowed by sanctioning body.

Sanctioning

Sanctioned by US Club Soccer. The event primarily serves ECNL, ECNL Regional, and Girls Academy teams.

Reputation & Tier

Tier 1–2 national showcase event. The tournament has historically attracted 500+ college coaches, making it one of the most significant college recruiting events in girls’ youth soccer in the Northeast. PDA’s national brand drives high participation from out-of-state programs.

Notes

The US Club Soccer sanctioned list uses the name “PDA Girls Memorial Showcase” (tied to Memorial Day weekend dates), while PDA’s own marketing refers to it as the “PDA Girls College Showcase.” These are the same event. A separate “PDA Girls Invitational Showcase” is a distinct event with different dates and scope.
