Overview
North Alabama SC (NASC), based in Huntsville, AL, rebranded in 2020 from the Huntsville Futbol Club. An independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, NASC serves Huntsville, Albertville, and surrounding North Alabama / Tennessee Valley. Programming spans 9U-19U competitive plus developmental/recreational, school-based, premier, and pre-professional tiers.

NASC has been the dominant Huntsville-area competitive club, but two 2024-25 structural threats have emerged:
- afc-huntsville (BUSA/Alabama FC) launched programming Fall 2024/25
- huntsville-city-fc-academy launched MLS Next programming Fall 2025 — the only MLS Next pathway in North Alabama
