The Alabama Soccer Association (ASA) is the state affiliate of US Soccer and usys and the governing body of soccer in Alabama. Non-profit educational organization.

Structure

• 15,000+ registered youth players
• 1,800 adult players
• ~2,000 coaches, referees, administrators
• Operates the Alabama State League (U11-U19, Division 1 and Division 2, boys and girls)

Club Requirements

Standard USYS affiliation — player registration, coach certification, insurance.

Player Pathway

State League feeds USYS Regional Championships annually in June.

Standard state-association fee structure.

Stable. Supplements competitive clubs that participate in national platforms (ecnl, mls-next, girls-academy, npl) with state-tier competition.
