Northern Virginia Alliance

Overview

The Northern Virginia Alliance (NVA) is a strategic alliance between Virginia Valor, Loudoun Soccer, and Great Falls-Reston SC, formed to offer the highest-quality elite programming in Northern Virginia by combining the strengths of three clubs.

In February 2025, NVA and Loudoun Soccer announced affiliation with MLS Next for the 2025-26 season. NVA teams join MLS Next (top tier), while Loudoun Soccer’s top teams join MLS Next 2. NVA was one of a small group of clubs nationwide invited for full MLS Next participation.

Training at Bolen Park, Loudoun Soccer Park, Hanson Park in Loudoun County.

SYNRGY Relevance

NVA is an alliance, not a merged entity. Individual member clubs (Valor, Loudoun, GFR) may be independently acquirable. Understanding the contractual obligations is key.
