Henry Brauner

Background

Born in the Philippines (Quezon City, 1984), Brauner is a former central midfielder who played professionally before moving into coaching and development. He joined the Sounders organization as Academy Head of Recruitment (2015–2018) after two years coaching at Real Salt Lake’s academy. He served as a USYNT scout and coach (2018–2020) before returning to Seattle as Director of Player Development and First Team Development Coach (2020–2022), then Vice President of Player Development (2022–2023) prior to his Technical Director appointment.
